About us

Ellbie Design began in 2004 in New York as a freelancing side job of designer Lindsey Behrends. As of 2008 it became a full-fledged design studio offering services in both print and web design. Our location in Carlsbad, California allows us to work with clients located in the San Diego area. The internet and telephone allows for us to work with clients anywhere.

Since completing her BFA in 2005, Lindsey has worked with a variety of local and national clients including CIA, Marist, and couture wedding designers Birnbaum and Bullock. Much of her work was done during her time as a senior multimedia designer for Spectrum Creative Solutions where she also gained expertise in XMPie software for variable data publishing.

Lindsey has a great deal of affection for and experience with typography, clean design, and problem solving. Her real passion is merging art and technology and not only getting them to cooperate but also to live happily together. She is dedicated to impressing her clients so that they can impress theirs.
